Garcia

Posted by Brooks

I'm reluctant to post this (because of the insanity that will result afterwards - haha), but I just spoke with a very good source who has told me that it is only a matter of time before Angel Garcia, incoming freshman for the University of Memphis, is cleared by the NCAA eligibility center. He said that his core class GPA corresponded to his SAT score and that both were high enough per the standards.

GPA matched SAT score? SAT max is 1600. That is a great GPA, or not so hot of an SAT.

corresponded...

some people take themselves too seriously

Good to hear. Hopefully he will be cleared to play soon. Is Simpkins in the same situation?

Richard, I like to hear your take on the Tiger's PF and C positions and how it may affect recruiting.

Next year, the Tigers will have a lot of returning big men. Rashanti Harris and Karron Johnson both have Memphis as their favorites. I'd love to get both, but I think the depth we have will scare one of them off. What do you think our chances are with Harris and Johnson?

Hey Richard,

Speaking of Big men, what has happen with the Renaldo Sidney situation? I would love to have Renaldo and Rashanti down low. Man, we would be final four bound with John Walls and Xavier.

I can dream can't I??? LOL....Anything new concerning the "All Sports Contract negotiations?? Man, I am biting at the bit on this action item. RC had better pull this off. lol

Man, you got to come to Memphis and get you some barbecue to maintain your strength. lol

In my opinion, college basketball is the greatest overall sport. March and April are my favorite times of the year. My wife says I have an obsession.
